This is sacrilege to my milk-loving husband, but I have no interest in drinking baby-cow food.<br /><br />Anissa, I think a lot of people use the term "allergy" as a catch-all, but I think it's important to distinguish!Susan Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04244777381841276144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8919525523272877622.post-69450555129114239332010-08-14T15:43:08.151-05:002010-08-14T15:43:08.151-05:00I think I told you this, but Alex had similar issu...I think I told you this, but Alex had similar issues as well when I was on dairy (and I was also restricted from broccoli). Luckily hers were short lived (and the opposite of Lily's problems), but people asked me the same things too! "Is she allergic to milk?"<br />I have a co-worker who's grandson is "allergic to milk" and supposedly a whole slew of other things too... but has basically the same problems as Lily, making me wonder how sure they really are that he's allergic to milk.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03706967916241661898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8919525523272877622.post-3478885904420135682010-08-14T13:35:03.113-05:002010-08-14T13:35:03.113-05:00great post susan! We are not baby calves. ;) I eat high quality, plain yogurt but that is pretty much it (minus the cheese on pizza!), but a lot of it here and in Italy is made from Goat's milk which is much closer to human milk. I am glad that Lily feels better! Many many many babies are intolerant of dairy proteins. If she was REALLY bad you would have to avoid all whey which is in a lot of processed food people do not even think about, cereals, baked goods, etc. :)Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05801652960623674341noreply@blogger.com
