What should I do?

I have a problem on my hands. Back when I was about 11, I started collecting Beanie Babies. What can I say? All the other kids were doing it, and they were super cute and inexpensive. Before too long, my collection grew to about 65!

I just pulled them out of my parents' basement yesterday, thinking I would pick out a few to keep and get rid of the rest. Well, I can't sell them because they have little value any more. But my problem is this: I still think they're really cute! What's wrong with me? I can't bring myself to give them away.

But what's a grown woman of almost-25 going to do with 65 Beanie Babies? I welcome your suggestions.

Just don't give them to Alayna. If we get any more stuffed animals, we're liable to get evicted. ;)

Distribute them to friends you'll see often...one at a time, to prevent overloads. :D (For whatever reason, I have a pile of three identical Beanie Baby cats above my computer, all in various stages of whiskerlessness.)

i agree with Hannah: whenever you give a baby gift, have a beanie baby peeking its head out the gift bag or have the ribbon of the gift box holding it securely in place outside of the box. That way they will still be in your life, just your extended life. And you'll feel good that you gave them to people you care about.

Don't feel bad. I have a fondness for Eeyore..so much that I have 20 stuffed animals of him in my room, an eeyore light, and various other eeyore things on display. Not including the ones that are being brought back by Jason's family in NC. I don't have a problem! **twitches** and either do you :)

You could always roll around on them. No one will think you're crazy *snicker*.

I say keep a few of your favorites as childhood keepsakes (nothing wrong with that says the girl with her old barbies) and maybe give a few to the bethany garage sale or toys for tots when Christmas comes around. Pretty soon the pack will clear and you'll feel good you gave them to deserving children. :)
